As a Roofing Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. You will work as part of a team to ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Roof Tear Off: Safely and efficiently remove existing roofing materials, including shingles, underlayment, nails, and flashing, to prepare the roof surface for new installation.

* Roof Installation: Assist in the installation of various types of roofing materials, including shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofing systems.

* Roof Repairs: Perform repairs on damaged roofs, including patching leaks, replacing damaged shingles, and reinforcing structural components.

* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection systems.

* Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport roofing materials to and from the job site.

* Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of the worksite, including setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment.

* Clean-up: Ensure the job site is kept clean and free of debris during and after the project.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.

* Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers on-site.

Required Qualifications

* Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are essential.

* Attitude: Ability to receive feedback, learn from mistakes, work as a team and grow with the company.

* Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working at heights.

* Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

* Basic Phone Skills: Ability to take and send pictures via smartphone

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience: Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

*Skills: Basic understanding of roofing techniques, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to follow instructions.

* Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus but not required.

* Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.

* Occasional long hours and weekend work depending on project timelines.

Compensation

* $18 - $30/hr DOE
