Q: Do you have experience with my type of roof?
A: French Construction crew brings 30+ years experience to residential & commercial roofing. We install standard composition, tile, cedar shake, metal & flat roofs & can provide specific details on similar jobs by request.
Q: What Materials Will You Use, and Why?
A: French Construction works with 2 material suppliers: Certainteed & GAF. All crew members have completed necessary training with Certainteed & GAF to provide manufacturer's 30 year warranties.
There are multiple material options available with each supplier; Depending on your property and your plans for the property will help determine the appropriate material choice.
Q: What Warranties or Guarantees Do You Offer?
A: In addition to the material warranty, French Construction includes a 5 year Workmanship Warranty on all Roof Replacements; 10 Year Workmanship Warranty is available with an upgrade to Presidential shingles.
Q: What is the Project Timeline, and How do you Communicate Updates?
A: Most roof replacements take 2-4 days to complete depending on roof size and complexity of the job. Jobs can be delayed by weather or staff injury/illness. Should a delay occur, our Crew Lead will reach out to explain the situation and adjusted timeline as soon as the delay is determined. Most repairs are completed within 1 day.
Q: Do you have Any Certificates or Accreditations?
A: All crew members are certified installers for CertainTeed & GAF roofing products.
Q: How Will you Protect my Property During the Project?
A: On day 1 of the project, our crew will move any lawn furniture, planted pots, or other moveable items away from the house. We'll cover bushes, trees, and flowerbeds with drop clothes & cover doors & windows with protective sheets. Each day, the worksite will be cleared of fallen debris. A final job site clean up includes detailed sweep of exterior to clear small items, nails or other debris and return moved items to their original placement.
Q: Who will be Supervising the Project and How Can I Reach Them?
A: Each job includes a Project Manager, typically Sean French - Owner / Operator of French Roofing. He ensures timeline and material for each job. In addition, a Crew Lead is assigned to oversee the day to day installation, worksite cleanliness and safety. You will have phone numbers for each & can reach out anytime with questions or concerns.

Q: What is the Payment Schedule / Do you Require a deposit?
A: All roof replacements and roof repairs require 50% down payment to secure project start date on the work schedule and final 50% upon completion and final inspection.
